We didn't get any wind from Gustav, but for a day or so it gave us some unusually rough surf on the gulf shore beaches. It's hard to tell from this photo, but the swales "packed a punch," especially by gulf standards.Gustav also had the unfortunate timing of churning up the biggest waves during a spring tide. That wiped out most of the turtle nests.
