On this day, 6 years ago, the evaporation pan at the Big Cypress Basin in Naples froze. Talk about a photo worthy event. Thanks for the photo Andy!

What's my favorite bridge on the Tamiami Trail?  Bridge 100 would be one of them.  It's just east of the Oasis Visitor Center at Clyde Butcher's photo gallery.

Walk in

Just south of the S-333, there's an access point for walking in to Everglades National Park along the L-67 extention levee.
